About Folk Arts and Cultural Society

“FOLK ARTS AND CULTURAL SOCIETY” is a voluntary social service organization. It is purely non-political, non-sectarian and non-governmental. It was registered in 1995 under societies registration Act No: XXI of 1860 in the name of “FOLK ARTS AND CULTURAL SOCIETY” bearing registration vide Reg.No.36/1995 dated 10.02.1995 by a group of committed and experienced social workers. This association had started at 14 years initially with seven members. Further, due to our services in are directly went to the public people and also of its enhancement we have been integrated more members and according to their suggestion we have been rendering our service in various parts in Puducherry. Especially at rural areas. Further we have registered this association under society act at 14 years ago. Now today more than 30 members have been servicing in this society. Besides that, we have been executing various schemes, so that the backward students can get some indulgences from the government and also we have been providing some aid and self-employment training to the handicap and first important of this society in the disabled. Additionally for woman along with self-employment training. We have been doing various awareness training center through that, for students we have been doing various awareness training center through that, for students we have been doing various camps, entertaining programs, cleaning the areas and more helping for disabled people etc.,
